Some areas of the property are designated Quiet Zones. <strong>Private pools and surrounding areas are Whisper Zones<\/strong>. Common pools do not have a whisper policy but we do ask guests to be respectful of other guests. Devices must be silenced. No music or phone calls allowed.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Pool Hours&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852552-3da7165e-4e99&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>Common and Private pools are open to rent by the hour\/session from 8 AM \u2013 10 PM, daily. During Daylight Savings, we stay open until 11 PM.<\/li>\n<li>Overnight guests get free access to the Common Pools from 8 AM &#8211; 10 PM. During Daylight Savings, guests can soak from 7 AM &#8211; 11 PM until 10 AM of their checkout day.<\/li>\n<li>Pools are closed within the hours of 10 AM &#8211; 4 PM for cleaning<br \/>\n(usually always Thursdays, but could be any other day) On Thanksgiving, we move cleaning day to the day before and if Christmas falls on a Thursday, we move it.<\/li>\n<li>Soaking is only allowed during pool hours and when our staff is on duty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Cleanliness&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852628-1f88d818-2099&#8243;][vc_column_text]All guests must shower before entering our all natural hot springs. Bodies must be free of soaps, oils, deodorants and lotions (including sun block and sun tan lotion). If booking a private soak, please come pre-showered or come at least 30 minutes earlier than your scheduled soak time to allow time for showering[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Children&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852721-03cf91d9-74b9&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>Due to our hazardous riverside location and our peaceful ambiance, Riverbend can accommodate guests<strong>\u00a0age 12 and older only<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>We are currently making an exception for children at least 5 years old and up in two of our private pools (Cielo and Tierra) if and only <strong>IF<\/strong> they can whisper and not disturb neighboring guests. Those two pools are railed in for safety.<\/li>\n<li>There are no exceptions for the 12 and older policy for the Property Pass (Common Pools) or for any overnight accommodations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Pets&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852824-d0afd48a-6fa5&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>Property Pass (Common Pools): Dogs\u00a0can accompany their owners who purchase a Property Pass at designated Canine Cabanas only and only <strong>IF<\/strong> they do not bark, whine, or disturb other guests. You must use our leash to prevent dogs from entering walkways or going beyond the Cabanas.<\/li>\n<li>Private Pools: We can allow dogs\u00a0onto the deck of two private pools (Cielo and Tierra) only <strong>IF<\/strong> they do not bark, whine, or disturb other guests. This is heavily enforced due to the whisper policy at Private Pools<\/li>\n<li>Dogs are not allowed in or next to pools<\/li>\n<li>Two dog maximum per party<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dogs must be leashed at all times while on our property<\/strong> and must be picked up after<\/li>\n<li>No dog food allowed near our pools<\/li>\n<li>Service Animals may be exempt from our location restrictions but will be fully vetted per the ADA guidelines to prevent fraud and preserve the integrity of the Service Animal program.<\/li>\n<li>Any dog (pet or Service Animal) may be excluded from being on our property if it is disruptive to other guests or is considered aggressive or dangerous to our staff or guests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;What to Bring&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852903-e012b7a7-67e7&#8243;][vc_column_text]Clean <strong>bathing suits are required in the Common Pools<\/strong>. Private Pools are clothing optional. Bring a towel or robe or rent them from us. Bring slippers or purchase them from us. You may want to bring a hat, as we do not allow sunblock\/lotion and it may be too windy for us to open the umbrellas. You can bring non alcoholic beverages in non breakable containers or we have several beverages for sale. <strong>Don&#8217;t bring food or alcohol as they are not allowed near pools.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Reservations and Cancellations\/Changes&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220852979-73e3a5ad-1deb&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reservations are taken and currently required for a Private Soak<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Reservations are taken and currently required for the Property Pass<\/strong> (Access to the Common Pools, Sauna and Grounds). Most groups are not appropriate for our environment and so please consider our policies and ambiance carefully before coming with a group. Our largest Private Pools are limited to 2 guests or less and our maximum capacity in our Common Pools often prevents us from allowing entry for groups. Please email us if you are interested in booking a large group which would require booking our full Private Pool inventory or booking the entire resort to use the Common Pools.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Health and Safety&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220853146-31fe439f-6a0c&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Health and Safety<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No Alcohol, Smoking\/Vaping, or Glass\/Breakables allowed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You must shower before entering the pools<\/strong>. Swim attire is required at Common Pools (Private Pools are clothing optional). No<br \/>\nstreet wear or underwear.<\/li>\n<li>Overexposure to hot water may cause nausea, dizziness, and fainting. We recommend no more than 15 minutes in at a time, and then getting out for at least 5 minutes to cool off.<\/li>\n<li>Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.<\/li>\n<li>Extended exposure to hot water may be detrimental to the health of<br \/>\nelderly persons, persons with health problems, such as heart conditions, diabetes, or low\/high blood pressure, small children, or pregnant women. Consult with a physician before using springs.<\/li>\n<li>Do not use the springs while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other drugs that cause sleepiness, drowsiness, or raise\/lower blood pressure.<\/li>\n<li>You may not soak unless you can enter the pools without the assistance of others.<\/li>\n<li>Soak in intervals no longer than 15 minutes, then get out to cool off for at\u00a0least 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>No Lifeguard on duty<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Watch your step, surfaces are slippery when wet.<\/li>\n<li>You are advised to stay out of the river. Entry into the river may be locked depending on current, river levels and cleanliness but for all other times when we allow it, it is always at your own risk. You are required to shower before re-entering the Common Pools if you got in the river. No river access is allowed from the Private Pools<\/li>\n<li>Children must be supervised by parents at all times.<\/li>\n<li>We are not responsible for accidents.<\/li>\n<li>For emergencies, use the phone in the office to call 911.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Be Considerate of Others&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1670220853231-0d9038d9-d16a&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Private Pools are Whisper Zones\u00a0 and Common Pools (Property Pass) are more social but with reasonable volume levels of talking only.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Devices- Please silence devices, no music unless with headphones at a lower volume, do not take pictures of other guests, do not use devices with screens in the Common Pools after dark, and please don\u2019t take pictures with flash after dark.<\/li>\n<li>Use chairs, not pool edges to rest. We do not have roll-away beds or extra bedding. Any party that shows up with more than that number of people will be turned away without a refund. Reservations made less than 7 days away are immediately locked in and non-refundable.<\/b> If you would like to use a credit on file, a Gift Certificate\/Card or two different cards you should call us to make your reservation. Please realize that a reservation holds you a room within a certain room type, not any specific room. We reserve the right to change the room assignment as needed, to accommodate other guests and longer stays. There is a two night minimum on all hotel rooms. One night stays are possible if a one night vacancy is created by two other longer reservations or if you are booking less than a week away. Group reservations (4 or more rooms or 8 or more people, whether booked<br \/>\ntogether or individually) require a 100% deposit of the total cost of the stay.<br \/>\nCancellations made at least 30 days before arrival can be refunded the deposit,<br \/>\nminus a 10% cancellation\/processing fee. Cancellations or changes to a reservation<br \/>\nwith less than 30 days notice are not possible and the deposit is no longer<br \/>\nrefundable. Group reservations made less than 30 days away are immediately<br \/>\nlocked in and non-refundable. Due to our high occupancy rates and time needed to clean the room\/site, early check ins and late checkouts are simply not available. Pools will be closed from 10 AM &#8211; 4 PM for cleaning on Thursdays (almost always Thursday but could possibly be on any day). Soaking before room\/RV check in or after room\/RV checkout is available at regular rates or see our website for Specials. Dogs will not be allowed to stay in vehicles. <strong>All dog owners must pay the dog fee and register the dog at the front desk before being allowed on the property<\/strong>. Cats are not allowed at Riverbend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dogs must be leashed at all times while on our property<\/strong> and must be picked up after. Please don&#8217;t leave them alone in the rooms unless crate trained and crated. Please don&#8217;t let them on our beds or furniture to avoid any additional cleaning or damage charges. Dog are not allowed into most Private Pool enclosures. All areas of the property are designated Quiet Zones.\u00a0<strong>All pool areas are Whisper Zones<\/strong>. Our closing hours (10 PM \u2013 8 AM) are Silent Hours in all areas. These are our most unique and important policies and they are heavily enforced for your enjoyment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Children<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Due to our hazardous riverside location and our whisper quiet ambiance, Riverbend can accommodate guests<strong>\u00a0age 12 and older only<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maximum Occupancy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Each room has a very strict maximum occupancy of two (2) people per bed. We do not have roll-away beds or extra bedding. Any party that shows up with more than that number of people will be turned away without a refund. Please carefully choose the correct number of guests and verify that it is correct on your confirmation email.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Additional Charges<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 There are additional nightly charges for dogs (see Pets section below) and for additional guests in RV spaces (beyond 2 guests. 4 guests maximum). Be aware that the final charges may differ from your confirmation quote.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reservations and Deposit<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 We are a small but busy Inn. We welcome your reservation when your plans are firm.\u00a0<strong>All reservations require 50% Deposit of the total bill<\/strong>, charged at the time you make the reservation. Your credit card will be charged after continuing.\u00a0<strong>The Balance will be charged by us at the cancellation cut off date<\/strong>\u00a0(see Cancellations section below) using the credit card on file. If you would like to use a different card or different form or payment for the balance, you must let us know before the cut off date. Reservations made on or after the cut off date will be charged the full cost of the reservation and will be locked in and non-refundable. Please realize that a reservation holds you a room within a certain room type, not any specific room. We reserve the right to change the room assignment as needed, to accommodate other guests and longer stays.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cancellations<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\n<ul>\n<li>Cancellations (includes: changing dates, shortening of stay, early check out, or \u201cno show\u201d) must be made at least seven (7) days before your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $20 cancellation\/processing fee per room.<\/li>\n<li>Cancellations during holiday periods and during special events must be made at least thirty (30) days before your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $20 cancellation\/processing fee per room. No exceptions!<\/li>\n<li>Cancellations must be made by phone only. Cancellation requests sent via email may not be received and you may be charged for the room(s) reserved. If you cancel and do not receive a cancellation email, please call us to verify that your room was cancelled and that our email address for you is correct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Groups<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Groups often do not fit in with our quiet, relaxed ambiance and our house and pool policies. Therefore, group booking require special permission via email before booking. Group reservations (3 or more rooms or 8 or more people, whether booked together or individually) require a non-refundable deposit of one night or 50% of the total cost of the stay (whichever is greater), at the time of reservation and then full non-refundable payment of the balance, at least 30 days before your arrival date. There is a 10% surcharge (15% for one night bookings) for group reservations that don\u2019t take our full room inventory. DO NOT book your group\u2019s rooms online. Email us for permission to bring your group and for other important group info.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check in\/out<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Check-in for rooms and RV spaces is between 3:00-6:00 PM. Please call in advance to inquire about the possibility for a check-in later than these hours. Check-out is at 11:00 AM for rooms and RV spaces. Due to our high occupancy rates and time needed to clean the room\/site, early check ins and late checkouts are simply not available.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Included Soaking<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Common pool soaking is included with lodging during pool hours (8 AM to 10 PM) from your check in time (starting at 3 PM) to 10 AM of your checkout day. Pools will be closed from 10 AM-3 PM for cleaning on Thursdays (almost always Thursday but could possibly be on any day). Soaking before room\/RV check in or after room\/RV checkout is available at regular rates or see our website for Specials. Swim attire is required. No<br \/>\nstreet wear or underwear.<\/li>\n<li>Overexposure to hot water may cause nausea, dizziness, and fainting.<\/li>\n<li>Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.<\/li>\n<li>Extended exposure to hot water may be detrimental to the health of<br \/>\nelderly persons, persons with health problems, such as heart conditions,<br \/>\ndiabetes, or low\/high blood pressure, small children, or pregnant women.<br \/>\nConsult with a physician before using springs.<\/li>\n<li>Do not use the springs while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or<br \/>\nother drugs that cause sleepiness, drowsiness, or raise\/lower blood pressure.<\/li>\n<li>You may not soak unless you can enter the pools without the assistance of<br \/>\nothers.<\/li>\n<li>Soak in intervals no longer than 15 minutes, then get out to cool off for at\u00a0least 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>No Lifeguard on duty<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Watch your step, surfaces are slippery when wet.<\/li>\n<li>You are advised to stay out of the river.<\/li>\n<li>Children must be supervised by parents at all times.<\/li>\n<li>We are not responsible for accidents.<\/li>\n<li>For emergencies, use the phone in the office to call 911.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pets<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Small dogs (20 lbs or less) can accompany their owners who purchase a Property Pass at designated Canine Cabanas only and only\u00a0<strong>IF<\/strong>\u00a0they do not bark, whine, or disturb other guests. Each 50 minute session in each pool is 1 Pool Session (ie: 1 pool for 2 {50 minute} sessions in a row= 2 Pool Sessions and 2 pools for 3 {50 minute} sessions in a row= 6 Pool Sessions).<\/li>\n<li><strong>We require 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment if you have 1 or 2 Pool Sessions<\/strong>. We require 7 days notice to cancel or change your appointment if you have 3-5 Pool Sessions.
